I was in Cincinnati on a business trip all this week. Finally today I successfully made the four-and-a-half-hour trek in my Avis-rented Chevy Cobalt (a real beaut!) from Cinci to South Bend, Indiana. Now it's all football from here 'til Sunday. I officially kicked off my football weekend by spotting Chris Fowler at the Hertz counter while I was returning my car. Later in the day, I saw him with Lee Corso at the GameDay set on Library Quad.

Tomorrow night, I'll be attending the pep rally in Notre Dame Stadium.
